galvanized auger is created by hot-dipped galvanizing, a process unique
in the auger industry. Feterl welds the auger tube with all the brackets
in bare steel. The welded tube is then sent to a state-of-the-art
galvanizing facility, where the entire tube is dipped in several stages
- cleaning, preparing, and finally galvanizing the tube. This process
provides a "self-healing" coating 3 to 10 mils thick. |
